Vision

To Pratt Former for Open Innovation

Mitsui Fudosan is working to solve social issues and create new industries as an “industrial developer” by leveraging its experience in urban development. In 2016, LINK-J was launched as a community in the life sciences field, and in 2022, Cross-U was established in the space industry field, creating an environment that supports research and commercialization in both fields. In 2025, we participated in the creation of industries in the semiconductor field, which is a fundamental technology for the digital society, and established RISE-A.

Venture companies, academia, investors, and major companies in Japan and overseas will develop research and development beyond the boundaries of the industry, utilizing each other's knowledge, technology, and capital. Mitsui Fudosan will build such ecosystems by providing "places" where people from various fields gather, "community" that leads to new collaborations and demonstrations, and "funds" for venture companies to scale up, thereby supporting innovation creation.

   Mitsui Link Lab Life Science Building

   Mitsui Link Lab Series, a rental lab that aims to be Mitsui Fudosan's sixth core asset, and the Life Science Building Series, which realizes the accumulation of LS-related companies centered on Nihonbashi, a city of medicine.

   cross U

   Cross U, which aims to revitalize the space business domain by connecting many players regardless of industry industry, holds events and programs that gather a wide range of space players across the domestic and international space and non-space frameworks, including large corporations, academics, startups, and local governments. We will create opportunities for community and business matching that serve as the basis for creating new industries.​

   X-NIHONBASHI is a place for cross U to exchange and co-creation, offering various places in Nihonbashi that will expand the space business, including event and conference spaces, shared offices, meeting rooms, coworking spaces, and bar lounges.

   RISE-A is a community that connects semiconductor users (demand side, suppliers (supply side responsible for designing and manufacturing semiconductors) and supporters with the aim of "building an ecosystem for promoting industrial innovation through semiconductors and strengthening Japan's next-generation industrial competitiveness."

   

2. 02 Place Physical Assets

   RISE GATE NIHONBASHI

   RISE GATE NIHONBASHI is a facility located on the 7th floor of the Suruga Building in Nihonbashi as an activity base for promoting "co-creation and cooperation" among RISE-A members who are interested in semiconductor-related fields and semiconductor-related fields. It is equipped with lounges, large conferences and serviced offices.
