(head office: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President and CEO: Shun Ueda; hereinafter referred to as "Mitsui Fudosan") is pleased to announce that it has launched a support service for the procurement of research equipment and labor management for R&D startups living in Mitsui Link Lab, a rental lab and office that promotes innovation in the life science field. This support service is part of the "Open Innovation Support Program," which provides measures to solve the various issues faced by lab residents. The Japanese government is focusing on its development, including the formulation of the Five-Year Startup Development Plan in 2022, but creating an ecosystem that creates and nurtures startups requires cooperation not only by the government but also the private sector.
