Kashima Construction Co., Ltd., Keikyu Corporation, Dai-ichi Life Insurance Co., Ltd., Takenaka Corporation, DeNA Co., Ltd. (“DeNA”), Tokyu Corporation, and Hoshino Resorts have decided to open the BASEGATE Yokohama Sekiuchi (“this block”) under construction in front of JR Kannai Station on Thursday, March 19, 2026.
This block is a large-scale mixed-use project consisting of offices, new industrial creation bases, commercial areas centered on restaurants, and hotels that preserve and utilize the former Yokohama City Hall Administration Building. The commercial area is also home to one of the largest permanent live viewing arenas in Japan, and an education facility that combines play and technology.
