BioLabs decided to open BioLabs Tokyo, Asia’s first directly managed coworking wet lab, in Shinkiba, Tokyo, a city where researchers gather.

BioLabs Global, Inc. (Headquarters: Massachusetts, United States; Founder and CEO: Johannes Fruehauf; hereinafter "BioLabs") is pleased to announce that Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd. (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President & CEO: Toshi Ueda; hereinafter "Mitsui Fudosan") and Life Science Innovation Network Japan (Headquarters: Chuo-ku, Tokyo; President: Hideyuki Okano; hereinafter "LINK-J") are pleased to announce that it will open its "Tokyo" in Mitsui Link BioLabs Tokyo" in Shinkiba, a city of researchers, Shinkiba, Tokyo. The facility is scheduled to be opened after the spring of 2026.

BioLabs Tokyo is BioLabs’ first directly managed coworking lab in Asia. With the advancement of BioLabs Tokyo, new collaboration and collaboration between startups and diverse players in Japan and overseas will accelerate in the Tokyo and Shinkiba areas, and the accumulation of researchers will further expand. BioLabs, Mitsui Fudosan, and LINK-J will contribute to building an ecosystem not only in the Tokyo and Shinkiba areas, but also in Japan as a whole, and to improving the international competitiveness of research in the life science field.
