On November 21, 2025 (Fri), Mitsui Link Lab Shinkiba 3 and online held a seminar on "Introduction of Cases of Inappropriate Handling of Biological Samples" for residents of Mitsui Link Lab. (Organizer: Mitsui Fudosan Co., Ltd.)
In this workshop, we invited Hideaki Maekawa and Kazuyoshi Sugiyama of the NPO Biomedical Science Study Group as lecturers and talked about the following.
<Contents of course>
①Cartagena Law Applicable Experiment
・ Introduction of violations of laws and regulations and examples of countermeasures
②Experiments using pathogens
・ Introduction of biosafety and biorisks and infection accidents
・ Introduction of examples of measures to prevent infection

After the workshop, Mr. Maekawa and Mr. Sugiyama also participated, and a social gathering was held with Mitsui Link Lab tenants and our Scientists. During the event, participants enjoyed freshly baked pizza, various tidbitss, and alcoholic beverages, and it was a good opportunity to talk about requests that could not usually be easily consulted.
Going forward, Mitsui Link Lab will continue to organize events that will help residents research.
